Tammy Hembrow has finally addressed the theory that she’s about to pop up on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — and, sorry to anyone already drafting their crossover fan edits, it’s not happening.
The rumours kicked off after Mormon Wives cast member (and serial comment-section flirt) Chase McWhorter posted a cosy Coachella video with Tammy. Naturally, the internet did what it does best and spiralled, especially after eagle-eyed fans spotted his ex-wife Miranda — also from the show — in the background.

Suddenly, Tammy wasn’t just at Coachella. She was, apparently, soft-launching a reality TV cameo.
Speaking on 2DayFM Breakfast with Nath & Emma today, Tammy shut it down pretty quickly.
When asked point-blank if she’d be appearing on the next season, she replied: “No, I’m not!”
Just to be absolutely sure, the hosts pushed again to see if she was she filmed at all while hanging out with the cast?
“No, no,” Tammy said.
“I just bumped into Chase and Miranda at Coachella, and it had been a running joke on TikTok of him commenting on everything,” she explained.
“So, it was so funny that we finally met, and yeah, they’re all really nice.”
I will say, it’s not that diabolical a leap to assume she might make a cameo on the show because during season two filming of Mormon Wives, influencer Aspyn Ovard was spotted hanging out with a lot of the cast and now she’s landed herself on the spin off.
As for how Tammy ended up in this very random crossover episode of the internet, the whole thing started with two men on a podcast, because of course it did.
For context, Chase has been publicly thirsting over Tammy for a while. On Harry Jowsey’s Boyfriend Material podcast, he admitted: “She’s my celebrity crush — has been for years… She only recently followed me back. That is when I was like, ‘This is God’s plan’.”

Tammy, however, is keeping things firmly in the friend zone.
“He’s definitely just a friend,” she told TV WEEK earlier this month. “We did a fun little post together and hung out a bit that day, but definitely just friend vibes.”
Still, while she’s not joining the cast anytime soon, she’s not exactly a hater either.
“I do love that show though,” she admitted on air.
So, even if Tammy isn’t clocking in as the newest Mormon Wife, she’s clearly enjoying the chaos from the sidelines and SAME diva!
