Tammy Abraham makes massive Frank Lampard claim that Chelsea fans will love

Tammy Abraham has outlined why he believes Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is the ‘perfect manager’ for the club.

Lampard succeeded Maurizio Sarri in the summer, and arrived back at Stamford Bridge with just one year of management under his belt.

But with the club under a transfer ban upon his arrival, Lampard was forced into nurturing young talents instead of buying ready made stars from Europe's elite.

So far this season, the Chelsea icon has brought through the likes of Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James and Billy Gilmour and made them established first-team members.

And it is that what Abraham feels makes Lampard the ‘perfect manager’ for the club.

“You know what, I’ve said it to so many people, I couldn’t ask for a better manager around,” the forward said.

“He believes in every youngster, tells you where you’ve gone wrong, tells you what you need to do, and for me he is the perfect manager.”

Lampard scored 177 goals and claimed 102 assists in 609 appearances in the Premier League and Abraham has revealed his boss is more than happy to show the players he hasn’t lost his touch.

“I remember we had a session after training and I don’t know why but I was trying to take free-kicks for some reason when I never shoot outside the box, and he just put the ball down and banged it [in],” he said.

“It’s on Instagram as well, in the video you can hear me screaming as well, I’m like “oh my gosh.”
