Tammy Abraham 'considers' Chelsea future as Sergio Aguero demands revealed

Here is your Chelsea morning digest on Monday, April 19.

Abraham considers Chelsea future

According to The Guardian, Tammy Abraham is considering his future at Chelsea after being left out of Thomas Tuchel's squad for the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City on Saturday.

The 23-year-old has fallen down the pecking order since Tuchel's arrival at Stamford Bridge which means "his future could lie away from west London".

Abraham looks increasingly likely to miss out on a call-up to England's squad for the upcoming European Championships due to a lack of minutes in recent weeks.

The striker has been in full training since recovering from an ankle problem and his latest omission from the squad could push him to look for a move away this summer.

Reports suggest that Chelsea are looking to add a new striker this summer, which could push Abraham even further down in Tuchel's thinking.

Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Olivier Giroud have all been preferred by the German in the centre of attack.

Supporters' Trust slam European Super League plans

Chelsea Supporters' Trust have condemned the proposal of the European Super League, with mass reports on Sunday claiming the Blues were one of six Premier League clubs set to join the revolutionary new competition.

The west London-based club, along with Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham, are all rumoured to be joining in what will end up being a 15-18 team tournament.

The proposals have been met with plenty of controversy and Chelsea Supporters' Trust are one of the many parties to slam the idea.

The statement they released reads: "The Chelsea Supporters Trust (CST) continues to wholeheartedly oppose the creation of a breakaway competition to the Champions League. A "Super League" would destroy open competition simply for financial gain."

Aguero wages revealed amid Chelsea transfer rumours

According to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited by the Express, Sergio Aguero has already set his wage demands, with reported interest coming from Chelsea.

The 32-year-old Argentine striker will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, the club announced recently, with his contract coming to its conclusion.

Aguero wants to be paid around €12million (£10m) per year for his services, according to the report, which comes in just short of £200,000-per-week.
