Tammy Abraham breaks his silence after being left out of Chelsea squad for FA Cup final

Tammy Abraham has been the subject of intense speculation surrounding a potential move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

These rumours have only been heightened after his omission from Chelsea's FA Cup final squad, despite being the Blues top scorer in the competition this season.

Tuchel opted to leave Abraham out in favour of Timo Werner who started, and Olivier Giroud who enjoyed a brief cameo appearance off the bench.

Abraham has since broken his silence about the game, taking to Twitter to issue an update and offer an insight into his thoughts on what was a disappointing performance for his Chelsea side.

The forward wrote: "It hurts but we still have unfinished business. Thank you for your support, good to have you back."

The unfinished business relates to the Champions League final that Chelsea still have to come later this month, where they will meet fellow Premier League rivals Manchester City in Portugal as they aim to win a second Champions League before any of their London rivals win one.

Though Tuchel is yet to comment on Abraham's omission, it remains unclear as to whether the German boss sees the striker as part of his plans for the clash with Manchester City - an appearance seems unlikely given his absence in the FA Cup final.

Abraham's recent exile from the squad comes as a surprise to many of the Blues faithful, given his status as the club's joint top scorer this season with 12 - alongside summer signing Timo Werner.

The former Aston Villa loanee has achieved the same goal tally as the £45m Werner in 17 less games, yet remains out of favour at the Bridge.
