Tame Impala will play two HUGE UK shows this year - this is where

Australian super group Tame Impala have announced two shows for 2019, ahead of their Coachella performance this weekend.

Don't panic though, you haven't got to jump on a plane to grab Kevin Parker and co. as they'll be playing London and Blackpool this summer. They'll also be playing Dublin and Berlin - so there's plenty of chances of seeing them.

There's no word on extra dates yet, but we've got everything crossed as two just doesn't seem enough.

The gigs come ahead of a busy summer for the band, who will also be playing a number of festivals this summer including Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound as well as a whole host of European festivals this summer.

Tickets to the two huge gigs will go on sale Friday, April 12 at 9am from Ticketmaster and Seetickets here .

Re-sale tickets can be bought through Stubhub if you are looking nearer the time? But watch out for over inflated prices - a sure sign of touts.

Tame Impala 2019 UK Dates

Tame Impala previously released new single 'Patience', with many fans now hoping for a follow up to 2015's 'Currents' in the next month or so.

They've been working on stuff steadily for a while, with Kevin Parker admitting to NME that he "doesn’t like to play unreleased songs live, saying: “the first time people hear it is the kind of recorded glory, like the premeditated thing that I’ve spent two years on – rather than being half-drunk bashing it out on stage, you know, hitting clanger notes and stuff.”

The psychedelic music project is perfect music for the summer, and is led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, who writes, records, performs, and produces the music. As a touring act, Parker plays alongside Dominic Simper and some members of Australian psychedelic rock band Pond – Jay Watson, Cam Avery, and Julien Barbagallo.
