Tame Impala announce Blackpool Empress Ballroom show on UK tour and here's how to get tickets

Tame Impala have announced details of a mini UK tour.

The psych-rock group will headline Blackpool's Empress Ballroom on June 24.

It currently marks their only northern UK live date of the year, with shows also planned for London's O2 Arena and Glastonbury Festival in the same month.

The tour will in support of their upcoming fourth studio album, which is due for release this year and features lead single 'Patience'.

It was written and produced by Kevin Parker and marks their first single since 2015's 'The Less I Know the Better'.

They've since previewed another track on Saturday Night Live entitled 'Borderline'.

This won't be the first time the 3,000 capacity Blackpool venue has hosted worldwide artists with Bon Iver playing in 2017 and The Stone Roses infamous show in 1989.

Meanwhile back in 2016 Tame Impala performed a huge headline show at Manchester Arena, their biggest ever UK date and received a four-star review from the MEN.

How to get tickets

They go on general sale at 9am on Friday, April 12 via seetickets.com or ticketmaster.co.uk.

Tickets are priced at £39.50 plus a booking fee.
