Tamara Ecclestone has revealed her daughter predicted that her dad would welcome another child at the age of 89.
Bernie Ecclestone announced that his wife Fabiana Flosi, 44, is pregnant with his fourth child, their first one together.
And his daughter Tamara said her little girl Sophia, six, had quizzed her grandad and step-grandmother about the possibility of them starting a family just weeks before they announced the news to the family.
"It's really funny looking back at it now. Fifi predicted it," Tamara told MailOnline.
She added: "'It feels like so long ago to be honest, they told us over dinner.
"It was funny though because Fifi actually asked her if she was planning on having a baby just before they told us while she was actually pregnant and they were like 'no, we don't know' but she was probably in her early stages.
"When Fifi heard the news she was like 'I told you she was having a baby."
Bernie is already dad to Deborah, 65, who was born to his first wife Ivy Bamford.
With his second wife Slavica Radic he has Tamara, 35, and Petra, 31.
He married Fabiana in 2012, three years after his divorce from Slavica.
Ecclestone is grandfather to Lavinia, seven, and Andrew and James Stunt, both five, through Petra and her ex-husband James Stunt.
Petra recently welcomed a baby girl with her fiance Sam Palmer
Through Tamara he has six-year-old granddaughter Sophia.
He has one grandchild through his daughter Deborah and a great grandchild.
