Tamannaah Bhatia feels male actors are more uncomfortable with intimate scenes; here's why!

Tamannaah Bhatia recently opened up about shooting intimate scenes in movies. According to her, men are more uncomfortable during such scenes.

In an interview with a news portal, the actress said that men are more awkward with intimate scenes because they are also worried about how the woman is going to feel. According to her, it is basically about understanding that actors are just human and it is not about men or women.

Bhumi Pednekar, who was also a part of the interview, recalled that she had a ‘full throttle’ sex scene with Neil Bhoopalam in ‘Lust Stories’ and she was rather nervous about going through it. The actress addressed the sensitivity that director Zoya Akhtar showed, adding that she had a conversation with Neil about boundaries.

Earlier, in another interview, the actors also addressed the issue of pay disparity in the industry. According to Bhumi, the female actors are given as low as one percent of the fee that the hero takes home. Tamannaah added that there's no other way to fight this but to build a strong market for them.
