A local south Dublin business has rallied around the family of a man whose body was found after a two-week search.
Tributes poured in for David Scott after the 27-year-old Tallaght native, who had been missing, was discovered on Monday after an extensive local search.
Jackie's Florist set up a GoFundMe for David's family following the news to help them with the task of arranging his funeral as well as donating a large chunk of money to the family themselves.
The Tallaght flower shop told Dublin Live: "We have set up an account to try and help David’s family with the funeral expenses.
"I understand things are tough at the moment, my objective is to show his family how much support they have in our community.
"The goal is to raise €9,500, this amount will only cover the funeral including a new grave and we will then donate €500.
They continued: "His family and friends are devastated and now have to face the hard task of laying him to rest.
"This as we all know is a huge financial burden and we want to help.
"We understand this is a difficult time for everyone but any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated."

Family and friends were informed of the news on Monday with one pal telling Dublin Live "it's such tragic news. He was and still is a gem."
David's family confirmed the update on their social media page which had been set up during the two-week search.
They said: "Just to inform you, David has been found, though not in the way we were all hoping and praying for. That being said we appreciate that we have found him.
"Again we thank each and everyone of you for the love you have expressed in the search for David, your support is what carried the family during this difficult time. Thank you all and God bless."
