Telecoms giant TalkTalk has announced a hybrid working pattern for its employees once its Salford headquarters is reopened following the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
The group is to ask its staff to come into the office at least two to three days per week, with an option to attend five days available.
A statement said: "Both office and remote working will have an important role to play in our lives.
"Research from TalkTalk’s Lockdown Lessons report found that more than half (58%) of workers in the UK said they had been more productive as a result of working from home, and their bosses agreed.
"30% of business leaders (directors, senior executives or owners) said working remotely had made their teams more productive, while over a third (35%) said they were working more collaboratively."
Jonathan Kini, managing director of TalkTalk’s Direct Consumer and B2B division, said: "We recognise that every one of our employees is different, and there are benefits to being able to work from home and in an office environment.
"We have adapted to create a workplace that allows colleagues the opportunity to create their own routine and reap the benefits of being both at home and in the office."
