Talking Point: Will the Christmas party scandal make you less likely to follow Covid rules?

Boris Johnson faced enormous backlash today over the Downing Street “Christmas party” and the introduction of Plan B Covid restrictions.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the probe into the party allegations could be widened to include claims of six more Whitehall festive gatherings, as the Conservatives admitted there had been an “unauthorised social gathering” at their HQ on December 14.

Former No10 Press Secretary Allegra Stratton resigned on Wednesday after a video was leaked in which she is seen laughing about the alleged party.
