Talking Point: Should Britain adopt tougher rules for those not vaccinated?

Austria made headlines today for imposing a tough new lockdown on unvaccinated people.

The new rules mean that from midnight Sunday, anyone over 12 years of age cannot leave their home unless for basic activities.

Exceptions include working, grocery shopping, going for a walk, or getting vaccinated.

Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said: “It’s our job as the government of Austria to protect the people.”

“Therefore we decided that starting Monday ... there will be a lockdown for the unvaccinated.”

Do you think Britain should follow suit? Is this a straightforward way of reducing cases?
