Normally midweek winter action is pretty mediocre at the tracks but there is plenty of attractive racing today although it's a shame to see that the nap selection, Street Power, having to be withdrawn from the Lingfield opener.
The next best bet is Midnight Prayer (12.40) at Newbury and the selection should be backed to gain compensation for his defeat last time out when he was looking to be going well until being hampered and unseating late in the race. At Ludlow Boctabilly (12.50) has gone up 8lb for his latest succes but that does not look harsh and he could prove difficult to beat off bottom weight.
