Just two jumps meetings on the domestic front to ponder on a very quiet weekend for racing. Stratford, where the going is still good despite all the rain around, looks the card with the best betting opportunities. Hat-trick seeker Bathwick Man (2.10) rates the day's nap in the opener on the card. He is proven on quick or soft going so won't mind if further showers leads to more cut in the ground and looks ahead of the handicapper at present. He probably had more in hand than the official margin when beating Sagredo here last weekend and can run off the same handicap mark today as that was a conditional riders' race. The other suggested punt is Tempsford (4.40) who was travelling well before all but getting rid of his rider when making a bad mistake at Market Rasen on his reappearance run a fortnight ago. He had been showing progressive form at the end of last season and this looks a good opportunity to make amends for that blunder last time.
