The turf Flat season starts tomorrow at Catterick but for today the all-weather is still the centre of attention as far as racing on the level is concerned and at Lingfield the Ed Dunlop-trained Lemon Drop Red (3.10) is given the nap vote to open his account for the Newmarket handler.
The selection was highly tried in three maiden races last year and even ran in the race won by 2,000 Guineas favourite Frankel at Newmarket. He has not been punished over harshly for his handicap debut today and there must be a chance he has improved for being gelded in the close season. The yard are having winners and this does not look especially competitive.
Tipping competition, day two
Waltersobchak came flying out of the traps, being the only person to pick Dance For Livvy (14-1) and adding Absolute Shambles (13-2) into the bargain. A good handful of you got off the mark with Connectivity (3-1).

Non-runners count as losers. If you have not joined in already this week, you are welcome to do so today, but you will start on -3.
In the event of a tie at the end of the week, the winner will be that entrant who, from those tied for the highest score, posted his tips earliest on the competition's final day.
