The ground has dried out remarkably quickly on the chase course at Sandown today. Cue a return to form by Bubble Boy (2.35), who made all the running to win here in similar conditions back in November. It is safe to put a line through his subsequent effort on soft ground.
There is a lot of confidence behind Nicky Henderson's newcomer Punchestowns (3.45), and the stable certainly knows the time of day with their novices this season. I hope to see Inchloch (4.20) go close for Bubble Boy's trainer, Brendan Powell, but there has been good money for Truckers Delight in this race and he could be a big danger.
