The Richard Fahey stable has excellent prospects of winning the last two races on the Southwell all-weather card today with Benandonner (4.45) and Swinbrook (5.15). Runner-up to the impressive Don't Panic at Doncaster, Benandonner is on a lower mark on sand. When trained by Ed Dunlop, he ran well on the Fibresand surface as a three-year-old. Swinbrook has not been with Fahey for long, but the trainer has found the key to this sprinter, who ran well at Pontefract last week.
Friday's Topham Chase at Aintree is something to look forward to, and at 12-1 Pak Jack is one for the short-list. He has been placed on his three starts over the Grand National fences and is going to win one of these before long.
