With improvement expected on her first run for the in-form Venetia Williams (eight winners in the past fortnight), Aberdeen Park (3.20) can defy a lengthy absence at Bangor today. She won first time out last season and resumes for her new stable on a low handicap mark.
At Kempton, Flemish Invader (4.15) is an interesting runner for another trainer who is in form, Nigel Twiston-Davies. He has had three outings to qualify for a handicap mark since winning his bumper, and has caught the eye although finishing down the field.
