Talia follows Lynch on way out at Crows

Daniel Talia, AFL's 2012 Rising Star winner, will leave Adelaide at the end of the 2021 season. (AAP)

Adelaide have confirmed Daniel Talia will leave at the end of the AFL season, two days after also calling time on Tom Lynch.

The Crows said they won't offer a new contract to Talia, 29, who reached his 200-game milestone last season.

Talia has not added to that tally this year because of knee and foot operations.

The 2009 first-round draft selection won the 2012 Rising Star award.

He is a two-time All Australian and a club best-and-fairest winner.

Talia said in a club statement it had been a "privilege" to play for the Crows.

"I am disappointed because I feel like I have more years left in me at the top level, but I understand the decision and direction the club is going," he added.

Captain Rory Sloane described Talia and Lynch as "great human beings.

"It's an incredibly tough time of year, this little period, because you can lose some of your greatest mates in the footy club," he said.

"Certainly Tom and 'Tals' ... have been through an incredible amount of good times and some tough times, those two in particular."
