A young girl from Glasgow has been crowned Young Food Writer of the Year in the aged 11 to 14 category.
Ciara Martin was tasked with penning a poem to tie in loosely with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The 12-year-old's piece was titled, 'Food Fit for a Queen'.
Entrants could write about about fictional queens, historical queens or even culinary queens to be in with a chance of winning.

All category winners were announced on Monday by the Guild of Food Writers, in partnership with The Week Junior and sponsor Sacla’.
Now in its fifteenth year, it's said to be the only national food-writing competition open to children.

Competitors were divided into three categories; aged 10 and under, aged 11 to 14 and aged 15 to 18 years, with one winner per category.
Judge Karen Barnes said there was a lot of love for Glasgow talent, Ciara. She said: "There’s so much to love about this piece. It’s fun, it’s quirky and it’s evocative about food with memories attached, with a pairing we all still love to eat."
