Talented Cork musician, 21, tragically passes away as tributes pour in for popular youngster

Tributes have been paid to a talented young Cork musician who tragically passed away over the weekend.

It's believed Jamie Condron, from Gurranabraher, passed away in his sleep with his family and friends left in shock.

The 21-year-old was a budding musician and hugely popular in his local community, Cork Beo reports.

Jamie is to be laid to rest in St Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully after requiem mass in the North Cathedral on Wednesday at 11.00am.

Friends and relatives of the young man have been paying touching tributes to him to honour his memory on social media.

One wrote: "Can't get him out of my head poor boy, the whole northside is torn over him, just goes to show how loved and respected he was. Rest easy Jamie watch over your family."

Another said: "Can't believe it, one of the nicest boys ever. R.i.p Jamie Condron, life can be so short thinking of your family.

"May you get the best bed in heaven."

Another added: "Rest In Peace Jamie Condron. I can’t believe it! Our memories will be forever be with us kid, until we meet again brother R.I.P."

A post on RIP.ie reads: "Jamie, late of Templeacre Aveune, Gurranbraher. Dearly beloved son of Stacey and the late Mikey O’Driscoll and much loved brother of Craig and Eva. Sadly missed by his heartbroken mother, brother, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family, neighbours and friends."
