Talbot Street sealed off as Dublin Fire Brigade attend blaze at property

A busy Dublin city street has been closed off as Dublin Fire Brigade attend the scene of a blaze at a property on Monday evening.

Firefighters from both the headquarters and North Strand stations have attended the scene, which has lead to a temporary road closure of Talbot Street at the junction of Gardiner Street Lower while the blaze is fought.

Dublin Fire Brigade took to twitter to confirm members are battling the fire, Dublin Live reports.

They said: "Firefighters from HQ and North Strand stations are attending a premises fire in Talbot St tonight. Temporary road closure in place."

It is not yet known how blaze started.
