Takumi Minamino excited Reds fans earlier this week as he was officially announced as an incoming signing from Red Bull Salzburg.
The Japanese international can play in a variety of positions across the front line and will provide Jurgen Klopp's men with additional depth in attack during the second half of the campaign.
Liverpool released a video from the day that Minamino became a Reds player today, showing him undertaking his medical and trying on his shirt for the first time .
When he tried on the red shirt, with his name and number 18 printed on the back, Minamino's reaction was one of someone who has been dreaming of that moment for a long time .
He said: "As a football player, it is a dream, and it is my dream.
"When I saw this kit I got really excited.
"This is a special moment for myself wearing this kit.
"I'm so happy that I'm wearing this kit. I want to take it home with me! Can I?"
Minamino will arrive at Anfield on January 1, with his debut potentially to come against Everton in the FA Cup tie on January 5.
