Tomorrow is the opening of Apple's new store on Regent Street, something the Guardian covered this morning.
When you're reading about this orgy of consumerism, however, spare a thought for this guy who is, rather insanely, camping outside the store after flying over from Texas especially to be there when it opens.
"At 2:00am, a crew from GMTV, a London breakfast news show, interviewed me along with Thomas (another American). Just asked the basic questions everyone does such as why am I here, is it worth being out in the cold for this, etc. I probably made myself look like a fool because I don't really know how to answer the darn questions in a way that makes sense."
