Forget CD Guijuelo’s new shirt looking like jamon iberico (Football team ham it up for Spanish crowds, 14 August). From 1994-96 Peterborough United’s garish Pizzaborough shirt defied all rules of excellence, logic or taste.

Hadley Freeman (13 August) is correct. Twitter is not the “saviour of the human race.” That title, if I remember rightly, belongs to Lily the Pink.
