'Taking over' - Arsenal fans in frenzy as Gareth Southgate makes major England decision

Three Arsenal players are starting for England against San Marino.

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will make his Three Lions debut in Monday's World Cup qualifier, with young duo Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka making their second and 14th appearance respectively.

It is the first time three Gunners players will start an England match together since November 2014 when Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played against Scotland - a game they eventually won 3-1.

Arsenal supporters took to social media to heap praise on their young trio. Here is what a select few said on Twitter.

@maseafc3: "What a team."

@AFC_Mgg: "OH MY GODDD EMILEE."

@AFCOllie49: "WHAT A TEAM."

@yavuzafc: "ESR SAKA AND RAMBOOOO."

@WelBeast: "Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka and Smith Rowe. What do they have in common? All play for Arsenal Football Club. Ben white is NEXT."

@GoonerTalk3: "3 Arsenal boys in the England starting lineup, you love to see it #COYG."

@GeorgeT_UK: "The Arsenal boys taking over Come on England!"

Ramsdale has enjoyed a stellar first few months at the Emirates Stadium, avoiding defeat in each of his first nine games in an Arsenal shirt.

The 23-year-old's fine performances even earned him the club's player of the month for October after Mikel Arteta's side defeated Leicester City 2-0 and Aston Villa 3-1.

The north London outfit are currently fifth in the Premier League standings, two points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, who they will play on Saturday afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp's men have enjoyed an impressive record against Arsenal in recent years, winning each of their last five league encounters at Anfield.
