Taking a look at the 2019-20 UGA basketball schedule

The Georgia men’s basketball team’s season is right around the corner, as it opens up regular season play this Tuesday with a home game against an experienced Western Carolina program returning its four leading scorers.

The Dawgs will also be participating in the 2019 Maui Invitational, and will begin SEC play in early January against the Kentucky Wildcats.

Marquee games to circle on the calendar before tipoff include Georgia Tech, Dayton, Arizona State, SMU, Memphis, Kentucky (x 2), Auburn (x 2), Tennessee, Florida (x 2), and LSU, with a couple under the radar matchups against NC Central and Georgia Southern.

However, the Dawgs will get a shot at Michigan State, Kansas and or UCLA if they show out in Maui, by beating Dayton over Thanksgiving Break.

Here is a look at the full 2019-20 schedule, which includes 18 conference games, with 9 at home and 9 on the road.

Barring anything crazy, we expect the Dawgs to enter Maui at a perfect 4-0, unless the North Avenue Trade School pulls out an upset in Athens.

‘Ant Man’ and company will begin their march towards Atlanta on Tuesday, with hopes of returning to the NCAA Tournament, for the first time since the 2014-2015 season.

Be sure to catch the Dawgs at Stegeman Coliseum all winter long, as they battle it out on the hardwood against the nation’s best.
