Alvin Langdon Coburn was a regular contributor to Alfred Stieglitz's Camera Works journal and one of the most well-respected photographers of his time. As both a member of the American Photo-Secession movement and the British Brotherhood of the Linked Ring, he played a major part in promoting photography as an art form
