One local was left raging while they were ravenous with the hunger this weekend ringing a nearby fish and chip shop a whopping 220 times before getting an answer.

The customer on the Dublin/Meath border kept chipping away at the plaice from 5pm on Friday before eventually getting an answer later on that night.

"I know it's busy from 5pm but seriously 220 times before you get an answer."

We've all been there but maybe not two hundred and twenty times...
