The best takeaway in Yorkshire has been crowned.
The British Takeaway Awards in association with JustEat had a glitzy bash this week to announce their regional winners and the best in the UK.
Nacho Cheese, in Trowbridge, Wiltshire took that honour.
While, in Yorkshire, finalists included Tavassoli's Cafe and Grill, based in Leeds city centre, Hirds Family Fisheries in Halifax, Menston Spice in Ilkley, the Sweetie People in Bradford and Bear Kitchen in Wakefield.
The latter received the award of being Yorkshire’s best takeaway with all of the regional finalists receiving lots of praise.
Judges noted: “Bear Kitchen has stepped up their game this year, they use local suppliers and work hard to source quality, fairtrade, ethical ingredients for their innovative menu.
“Bear Kitchen also aids the development of young chefs in the industry & has an apprentice scheme for staff.”
