If you've been missing your favourite restaurants during lockdown, one takeaway has set out a challenge which is sure to satisfy your cravings and then some.
Those who fancy themselves to be a bottomless pit when it comes to tasty treats will be able to put themselves to the ultimate test thanks to Kebabistan in Preston.
Its owner, Yunus Sevinik, has created a huge 14 inch burger containing 2kg of meat - and has promised anyone who can finish it within 20 minutes a £1,000 voucher to spend at the takeaway.
The challenge to speed-eat the £35 burger will be available for those who want to take it on once lockdown restrictions are lifted and Yunus says people have already put themselves forward.
The monster lamb burger has been on the menu for three weeks for regular orders, and comes with cheese, salad, pickled cucumber and tomato.
Yunus believes it could feed up to 10 people and says it's been 'very popular' since the bumper burger was unveiled.
He's confident the contenders who fancy their chances will fail and he'll be able to hang on to his pricey food voucher.
It's not the first time Yunus has laid down a fast food challenge, after last year creating a two metre long wrap - which the winner reportedly devoured in just nine minutes.
Kebabistan closed its doors for a week when the lockdown was imposed and now operates reduced hours, with Yunus explaining there has been a drop-off in lunchtime trade due to the closure of nearly business and offices.
Yunus' menu is primarily Turkish and he prides himself on homemade dishes, offering Turkish kebabs cooked using charcoal - and he's banned chips from the menu.
"This is my style," he said. "Whenever people ask me why are my prices a bit up I tell them I do homemade, I don't buy cheap products."
