After reading the first of the Ruby Redfort books, I knew I was going to instantly be drawn in, and I was! I was constantly reading it, I couldn't be dragged away!
The book features a thirteen year old girl, who just happens to be a secret agent for Spectrum (the country's leading secret service) and her best friend Clancy Crew. Nobody knows about her secret life except Clancy and Ruby's butler, Hitch (who was only sent to be Ruby's butler to watch over her, so nobody would find out about her secret side).
Ruby, along with her fellow agents from Spectrum, solve all the odd happenings that go on in her home town of Twinford. She comes up with loads of excuses so that she can get out of school to finish her job.
I think this book would be wonderful for any girl aged eleven or over. It is amazing!
