Take the over for Kyler Murray’s passing yards in 2019

Where have oddsmakers set the bar for Arizona Cardinals rookie quarterback Kyler Murray? When it comes to passing yards as a rookie, According to ESPN, who got the over/under numbers from the Caesars Sportbook, the betting line for Murray is a little under 3,000 passing yards.

It is at 2,940 passing yards.

If you are one to wager, take the over.

No Cardinals rookie quarterback has passed for that many yards, but no rookie quarterback in Arizona has been the starter in Week 1. Murray should start every game.

He only needs to average 184 passing yards a game to get the over. The Cardinals were bad in 2018 and Josh Rosen, who played in a historically bad offense, averaged over 175 passing yards per game in a terrible offensive system.

21 quarterbacks passed for at least 3,000 yards. 22 passed for more than 2,940.

That number isn’t high. A healthy Murray should easily pass for more than 3,000 yards.

With his skills and Kliff Kinsgbury’s offensive system, the only way he doesn’t get to that number is if he misses games. If he is healthy, that’s an easy bet.
