Take That star Mark Owen compared to Tiger King Joe Exotic and Keith Lemon

Mark Owen has been compared to Tiger King Joe Exotic and TV presenter Keith Lemon.

Take That wowed fans this week with a virtual gig but it was Mark's appearance that caught attention.

For the concert Mark sported a moustache, flamboyant yellow floral shirt with bright lemon-coloured trousers and a cream fedora.

And many thought Mark, who performed Shine with help from a step ladder in his garage, looked a lot like the big cat keeper from the Netflix series.

One fan wrote: "Why does Mark Owen now look like Tiger King extra?"

Another said: "Mark Owen thinks he's Joe Exotic."

Others joked that he looked like Celeb Juice host Keith, and said: "#TakeThat great stuff! Mark Owen looks like a grey Keith Lemon."

Another said: "Was that Keith Lemon doing an impression of Mark Owen on Meerkat Music tonight or Mark Owen doing an impression of you???"

And Mark was also compared to X Factor icon Wagner.

A fan wrote: "Why is Wagner from the X Factor singing with Take That instead of Mark Owen?"

While another shared a picture of the contestant and said: "Mark Owen has turned into Wagner during lockdown #TakeThat."

Mark joined his bandmates Gary Barlow, 49, Robbie Williams, 46, and Howard Donald, 52, for the YouTube gig.

But fifth member Jason Orange remained absent from the band, after leaving following their 2010 album Progress.

Robbie made a late entrance and joked about how he was reluctant to join his bandmates in 2006.

He said: "More importantly, I'm here now. Last time, I was 15 years late."

Robbie joined the trio for performances of hits such as Back For Good, The Flood, Pray and Never Forget.

Robbie quit the band in 1995, but later returned to it when they performed at The X Factor final in 2018.

When Jason left the band in statement he said: "He said: "I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years. However, at a band meeting last week I confirmed to Mark, Gary, and Howard, that I do not wish to commit to recording and promoting a new album."
