Take That’s Howard Donald has revealed how he likes to make his insides Shine… with a dose of colonic irrigation.
Howard, 50, told how he took to having the internal body flush as the band prepared for their sellout Greatest Hits tour.
The singer admitted: “It’s always uncomfortable when the water fills up the belly… you hold as long as you can, and then finally release.”
But he added: “The feeling that you’ve cleared out lingering bad toxins is amazing.”
The procedure, which cleans out the bowel with water hosed through the backside, was part of an eight-day “organ cleanse”.

And the singer reckoned the worst bit was when he downed 250ml of olive oil with fresh grapefruit – which he said made him feel sick “until it came out the other end”. But he insisted afterwards: “Proud of myself as it was needed, especially before the tour.
“Just wanted to share an experience regardless of how gross I made it sound.”
Howard and bandmates Gary Barlow, 48, and Mark Owen, 47, kicked off their 38-date UK stadium tour in Sheffield on Friday night.
After finishing the run in Cardiff in June, they will head to Europe for a further 14 gruelling appearances. And Howard insists that with his irrigation regime, everything certainly changes.
He told his Twitter fans: “Definitely recommend to anyone that is constantly bloated, has had a weekend on the p***, flies a lot, eats s*** a lot and [is] constipated.”

But he admitted the clearout would not help when it came to the first night, saying beforehand: “I’ll be pooing myself.”
Meanwhile his two bandmates have been taking a different approach to preparing for the tour.
Gary revealed he has been exercising regularly with uphill walks, short sprints and spinning.
He said: “Knowing thousands of people have bought tickets, I want to be super prepared, physically and mentally.”
And Mark admitted to a more sedate stance, drinking lots of tea… and stocking up on chocolate biscuits.
