Take That fans complain about same issue as 'fourth member' introduced to the stage at Coronation Concert

It wouldn't be a British knees-up without Take That and the Manchester band delivered as they performed for the newly-crowned King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle. Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen took to the stage in front of a crowd of 20,000 people and the royal family to belt out some of their biggest hits.

But some fans were complaining as they introduced singer Calum Scott to join them on a new version of their 2008 number one hit Greatest Day reworked by the Grammy-winning producer and DJ Robin Schulz.

@realitytv123 gasped: "Not Calum Scott being revealed as the new forth member of Take That!!!" And @Bowiejcecc asked: "Is this Take That’s way of announcing a new member?"

Many Take That fans had been hoping that they might be reunited for this historic occasion with former bandmate Robbie Williams, who joined them on their 2010 Progress album and 2011 tour.

@burchwise tweeted: "Take That …. I’m just praying for an appearance from Robbie really." And @ScotsSquirrel protested: "Sorry, but it’s not Take That without Robbie."

@RyanTheSoapking said: "They should have braught back Robbie even if it's for a one off performance." And @gewissesetwas grumbled: "Take That should have invited Robbie Williams instead of Calum Scott and Robin Schulz."

But the praise came in as they had the royals on their feet, including the King and Queen, to dance and wave their Union Jack flags along with their classics Shine and Never Forget. @Helen86069097 praised: "Take that …… Gary Barlow just fantastic."

@cheepcheepbird said: "Take That never disappoint." @Huxleypiguk commented: "Take That storming the end of that concert. Even Kermit had his hands in the air."

@ILuvJBMiley said: "Take That performing ‘Never Forget’ was a perfect way to end the concert. So good & so British x" And @andariann applauded: "Now that’s how to end a concert. #TakeThat."
