Take That at Manchester Arena: The band's best music videos

Take That are as well-loved for their videos as they are for their songs.

Ahead of the Take That shows coming to Manchester Arena in May M.E.N. reporter and resident Take That fan Katie Fitzpatrick looks back at her favourites.

Don’t forget to vote for your pick of the bunch.

Babe

Fully embracing heartthrob Mark Owen’s status as ‘the cute one’ in the band, Babe broke hearts by putting ‘our Marky’ on a search for a lost love, only to discover that he has a little boy, who has his eyes and smile. Sigh. But our jealous mood was lightened by a snowball fight at the end.

Sure

This seven-minute long video starts with Take That’s own mini sitcom, showing the band preparing for a party while Mark Owen is babysitting.

Barlow plays piano, Jason dances, Howard makes food and Robbie Williams comically arrives home from shopping complaining about people ‘pushing me, shoving me’.

Satisfied

A montage of the clips showing the band at album signings in their Take That and Party days. And my favourite because I’m in it, waving under an umbrella three minutes 20 seconds in with my friends Tracy and Julie. I never got to meet them at HMV Market Street before they were smuggled away dressed as policemen but hey, at least I made it into one of their videos. Sort of.

Pray

A classic boyband video shot in Acapulco, Mexico, featuring the band members paired with a goddess of the four elements. Mark is air, Jason is fire, Robbie is earth, Howard is water, and Gary is neutral.

Back For Good

Shot in black and white as the boys walk and dance in the rain, this iconic music video was later paid homage to by former boyband The Wanted in their music video to Walks Like Rihanna.

How Deep Is Your Love

A cruel woman played by ex model Paula Hamilton keeps the boys tied up as she wickedly decides which one to push off a cliff. A stark contrast to this gentle cover of a Bee Gees ballad.

Never Forget

The video is a montage of moments of Take That caught on camera. Most of the footage is taken from the band performing live, backstage at gigs or on tour. But it was the perfect way to celebrate their career before Robbie left the band in 1995 and they called it a day in 1996.

Do What You Like

Ah, the song that kicked it all off for the band and grabbed our attention with their studded codpieces, the jelly fights, the lollies, the mops and the nakedness. And also amazing for Howard and Jason’s acrobatic dance moves. Here's the tamer, censored version.
