Take That are back: The band announce epic stadium tour Circus Live for summer 2026

Take That have just announced they’re dusting off one of their most famous tours.

The Circus Live is back for summer 2026, giving fans the chance to revisit one of the biggest UK pop shows in history... or see it for the first time if you weren’t around in 2009.

The original tour smashed records, selling over 600,000 tickets in under five hours and drawing more than a million fans across the UK and Ireland.

Now, 17 years later, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are bringing it all back, with a few updates to keep even the most devoted fans on their toes.

‘The Circus tour was one of our favourite experiences as a band and, in the years since, we've talked many times about how much we'd love to do it again one day. Well, that time has come! We’re so excited to welcome audiences old and new across the UK and Ireland to the spectacle of The Circus Live next summer. See you out there!’ the band said in a statement to The Standard.

The tour kicks off at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton on 29th May, before hitting Coventry, Sunderland, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester, and two nights at the London Stadium on June 26 and 27 - yes, the same venue where they closed the London Olympics.

The finale takes place in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on 4th July. Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday September 26th. Fans can also get early access by pre-ordering the band’s tenth studio album, due later in 2026.

For anyone who wasn’t there first time around, the 2009 tour was impossible to ignore: stilt-walkers, acrobats, fire-breathers, tap dancers, and a 30-foot mechanical elephant that carried the band through the crowd.

The 2026 shows will revisit the original set list, plus a few surprises.

Joining them on stage are The Script, who supported the original tour, and pop legend Belinda Carlisle. No mention of if former band-member Robbie Williams will make an appearance, but fans will be hopeful.

Whether you’re a die-hard who queued for hours in 2009, or a newcomer finally getting your shot, The Circus Live is likely to be the show of the summer.
