It has been another action-packed year for football, with all the usual excitement, shocks and drama taking place over the past 12 months.
A thrilling end to last season’s Premier League and EFL divisions saw 2022 get off to a great start, with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool battling it out for end-of-season glory.
The summer then saw England triumph in the Women’s European Championships at Wembley, before Lionel Messi completed his quest for a World Cup winner’s medal after Argentina were victorious in Qatar.
