Six years ago today, Jurgen Klopp was announced as the new Liverpool manager.
The anniversary now celebrates Klopp as the longest-serving Reds manager of the Premier League era, surpassing Rafa Benitez.
Klopp left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the 2014-15 season after seven years in charge.
Klopp first agreed a three-year deal to become the Liverpool manager, replacing Brendan Rogers after he was sacked following a 0-0 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
Since joining the reds, Klopp has helped the team to three European cup finals, became the first manager to win the Super League Cup and Club World Cup with the side and coached the team to premier league victory in 2020.
