Take off with Bradley and Holly leaves viewers feeling 'strange'

Holly Willoughby and Bradley Walsh's new show Take Off aired on Saturday night, but some fans were left feeling unsettled by the new gameshow.

Take Off sees contestants take part in a variety of quizzes and games in a bid to win a place on a plane, jetting off to a luxury holiday.

The show saw Bradley and Holly stood close to each other and they hugged contestants as a full audience watched on.

Take Off was actually filmed in February 2020 before the pandemic took hold, but some viewers felt very strange watching the lack of social distancing.

Sharon said: "Strange watching #takeoffwithbradleyandholly which was obviously filmed way before the pandemic. A full audience and actual handshaking!!!"

Mr Mac said: " #Takeoff was obviously filmed this week or ages ago given that there's an audience and no social distancing."

While other viewers were left wondering when the contestants would ever get to go on the holiday that they'd won, with the current travel restrictions in place.

Big Ang said: "I wonder if these people actually made it on the holidays they won?!?"

Joe Amadaeus said: "Hollywood and Las Vegas - erm the UK are banned from travelling to the USA."

Michael Lavelle said: "So have I got this right? Bradley Walsh’s and Holly Willoughby’s new show is about people trying to win holidays…even though we can’t travel anywhere."

*Take Off with Bradley and Holly continues next Saturday on BBC1
