PATNA: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday asked the state government officials to take necessary steps to put a check on use of indecent dialogues and pictures in Bhojpuri songs and films.
The CM gave this direction after one of the visitors at his weekly “Janta Ke Darbar Mein Mukhyamantri” programme complained to him that indecent pictures and dialogues were being served to the general public in the name of Bhojpuri language films and songs.
“There is an urgent need of putting a check on growing indecency in the Bhojpuri language films and songs,” the visitor from Buxar urged the CM.
Hearing his complaint, Nitish immediately telephoned a top ranking officer and asked him to take necessary steps in putting a check on indecency. “His suggestion is correct. Wrong things must be checked,” the CM was overheard telling the officer.
A woman, who had reached the Janta Darbar from Bhagalpur, told the CM that irregularities were being committed in the selection of Anganwadi Sevika, while another women informed the CM that her husband died of covid-19, but she was not provided the due amount from the state government. The CM told the health department and disaster management officials to ensure payment to all those persons whose kin died of covid-19 and they have so far not been paid the due amount due to any reasons.
Another visitor from Aurangabad district informed the CM that some influential persons have encroached the land of Kotwara Upgraded Middle School and also locked up the school, leading to disruption of teaching works. While another applicant from Desri (Vaishali district) urged the CM to upgrade Desri-based primary health centre (PHC) into a 30-bed hospital.
The CM heard the grievances of altogether 160 applicants who had arrived from different districts at the “Janta Ke Darbar Mein Mukhyamantri” programme, held at the CM secretariat here.
After hearing the grievances of the visitors one by one, the CM issued instructions to the concerned officials for a proper solution.
