Harry Winks has not enjoyed a great deal of luck since bursting on the scene with Tottenham Hotspur and his latest blow came on Monday when it was revealed that he is set for groin surgery.
The 23-year-old has been a key cog in Spurs' midfield this season having played 40 games in all competitions but now the injury bug has its claws on him again.
Winks missed significant time earlier in his career due to numerous ankle problems and is now set to miss some critical games for Spurs this season.
The club take on Ajax in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie on Tuesday, with Winks set to be sidelined for that clash and the second leg.

It's expected the midfielder will sit out the final two Premier League games but it's not known whether he would be able to recover for a potential Champions League final on June 1. In the meantime, it's fair to say Spurs fans are devastated for a player who hasn't enjoyed the greatest injury luck so far in his career.
