It just isn't Christmas without a visit to the Irn Bru Carnival - and Glasgow Live was lucky enough to pay a visit to the festive extravaganza on the day it opened its doors.
Filled with fairground rides, food stalls, memorabilia and plenty of nostalgia, Europe's biggest indoor funfair is a hit with kids - big and small - every year.
Taking place at the SEC until Sunday 12 January 2020, there are more than 65 rides and attractions to choose from inside the venue.
There are two new additions this year - the terrifying Techno Power - which Glasgow Live was brave (or stupid) enough to try out - and outside the venue you’ll find a 40m high Star Flyer. Both are guaranteed to excite even the biggest daredevils.
However, if you prefer the traditional family favourites, like the swings or the dodgems, then don't worry - they're not going anywhere.
And to make this year's event extra special, the carnival is celebrating an incredible 100 years since it first launched and is marking the occasion with a special Hall of Memories and exhibition paying homage to the Carnival’s past, showcasing images from across the decades as well as a vintage tearoom and traditional Carnival memrobilia.
So if you're looking for a dose of nostalgia or some good old fashioned family fairground time this Christmas, get yourself to the Irn Bru carnival!
