Take a look inside Whitley Bay home with stunning sea views that will set you back £570,000

With the beautiful coast and St Mary's Lighthouse in the background, this home has some amazing views.

But it will cost you more than half a million pounds if you want to live here.

The property is among the new homes built on the site of the former High Point Hotel, on the Promenade in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside.

The new development, called High Point View, includes a mixture of three, four and five-bedroom homes.

This one, which has six bedrooms, is on the market for £570,000 and the video above shows you just what it looks like inside.

The home has an open plan kitchen and dining/family area, an additional lounge with a balcony and a private courtyard in the back.

The estate agents, Signature North East , say: "A large picture window will provide you with wonderful views to the front of the property overlooking the promenade, and double-glazed patio doors and solid cedar door lead out to the rear yard and private parking area.

"The views to the front of this property are without a doubt the biggest feature, and a glass fronted balcony within the living room showcases this greatly.

"Patio doors lead out to the balcony, which benefits from enough room for a small seating area should you wish."

Meanwhile, four-bedroom homes on the site are on sale for between £340,000 and £375,000, while a five-bed one has been listed for £450,000. For more information, click here.

The old High Point Hotel had been derelict for several years and became an eyesore.

The building was bought by North Tyneside Council in 2014 and later demolished as part of a seafront regeneration programme.

Plans were then put in place to construct these new homes.
