A sneak peek inside a new home design can often provide inspiration when it comes to moving or updating our homes.
Westerman's new housing development in Stapleford, which was launched in November last year, has unveiled its first view home on the site.
A view home is a carpeted and finished new house that is open to the public to view but, unlike a show home, it hasn't been furnished.
The idea of the view home is to give you glimpse of how the houses are finished so you gain a snapshot of the fittings you could choose, visualise how large or small the rooms are, and experience the workmanship of the builders.
On view at the Field Farm site is the Kempton house type - a four-bedroom detached house. Accommodation in here includes a kitchen, utility, sitting/dining room, living room and cloakroom. The master bedroom has an en suite and the further three bedroom share the house bathroom.

Plot 24 is priced at £340,000 and comes with a £10,000 builder discount.
Field Farm is a development with a mix of property styles and sizes from one-bedroom maisonettes to five-bedroom detached family homes. There are three styles of finish; Woodland, Boulevard and Contemporary. The developer said: "These individual style cues will be used throughout the development to add personality to the neighbourhood and create a natural architectural flow through the landscape."
As the first buyers at the site move in, the developer said that the site was already proving popular.
A spokesman said: "The Stapleford location was carefully chosen by Westerman Homes as a site for development based on its geographical location on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire borders and its surrounding area."
