Take a look inside Matt Damon's luxurious Dublin holiday home in Dalkey

Hollywood star Matt Damon has slid seamlessly life in Ireland during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 49-year-old actor has been living in Dalkey, south Dublin for a number of weeks and has been spotted at shops, pubs, and even out for a swim with his clothes in a Supervalu bag.

The Oscar winner even had the residents of Dalkey go to bat for him against a New York Times journalist on Facebook, as the public defended his right to privacy during his stay in the capital.

And it looks like his stay will be extended for a little while longer given the current travel restrictions.

Thankfully, the Good Will Hunting, Invictus, and The Martian star will be living it up in luxury in a lush seaside property owned by Irish Formula One legend Eddie Irvine.

The five bedroom, five bathroom house boasts a spectacular view of the Dublin coast, with an outdoor swimming pool, games room, sauna, and bar to boot.

The house is on the market for an eye-popping €7,000 a week to rent, but these pictures show that if you can afford it, it's well worth it.

The property won't be available to rent until June 1, meaning the Jason Bourne star is likely to still be here for at least another month, alongside neighbours Van Morrison, Bono, and The Edge.
