Take a look inside Leeds pub with brand new bar following six-figure overhaul

A Leeds pub has had a complete overhaul following a massive makeover which cost more than £100,000.

The Greene King Angel Inn, on Wakefield Road, is a popular drinking hole for people in Rothwell and Robin Hood, but it's recently been given a major facelift and now includes a brand new back bar with more drinks stocked than ever before.

There are now separate areas for dining and watching sport, while new booth seating and bar furniture have also been added.

The extensive works forced to pub the close for a short period, but it reopened a little earlier this month and the big changes have even seen the pub take on an extra eight members of staff.

Laura Swift, general manager at the Greene King Angel Inn, said: "Angel Inn has always been popular with Rothwell locals, so we are really excited to be able to provide an even better place for guests to enjoy great food and drink, as well as watch all the best sporting events.

"The opening was a real success, with everyone commenting on the fantastic revamped interior and improved drinks range. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests over the coming months."
