Take a look at the new housing development offering cosy interior

A new show-stopping home development in Bristol is turning heads with its unique interior design.

The Ladden Garden Village based in Yate plays host to some of the freshest property layout in recent times, all thanks to the people of Denmark and Norway.

Louise McCarthy from Tryptych Design is the interior designer behind the new and elegant properties which focus on the Hygge.

Hygge is the Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of cosiness and described as the comfortable contentment through the simple things in life.

The number of people ‘hygge-ing’ their homes with cosy accessories to help achieve wellness within their own four walls is on the increase and Louise felt it was a fitting look for the new development.

Sunday Times names Easton as one of best places in UK for first-time buyers - but is it really?

She said; “Hygge was my inspiration behind the three-bedroom Greenwood style home at Ladden Garden Village.

“It’s all very neutral, with creams and wood. There’s a lot of fake sheepskin, fur and hide to give it a sense of cosiness.

“I love the fake fur throw in one of the bedrooms – you can just imagine wrapping yourself up in it after getting caught in the rain on the way home from work.

David Wilson Homes’ show homes at Ladden Garden Village are now open to visit. To make an appointment call 0330 057 6000  with homes start from £250,000.
