Take a look inside the new JYSK shop which has opened in Leeds.
For those not familiar, JYSK is a major Danish retailer and the new Leeds branch is the company’s 24th UK store. The trader specialises in homeware and furniture.
If you need a new mattress, duvet or pillows then it could be worth a visit. The shop is based at City South Retail Park in Tulip Street.

Founded in Denmark in 1979 by Lars Larsen, over the past four decades JYSK has expanded to 51 countries with more than 2,900 stores worldwide.

Leeds JYSK store manager Dale Sykes said: “JYSK stores are opening up left, right and centre now across the country as our brand expansion really gains momentum, and we’re so excited to be able to include Leeds in our ever-growing list of UK store locations.
“Leeds is a major retail hotspot and with our location being so close to the buzz of the city centre, we’re anticipating strong footfall into store from Leeds’ style-savvy shoppers. Our team is ready to welcome JYSK customers old and new to find some great deals and inspirational pieces for their homes.”
As we’ve previously reported, the new JYSK Leeds shop has created around 15 jobs. Elsewhere in Yorkshire, there are JYSK shops in York, Bradford, Dewsbury, Pontefract and Wakefield.
